Finding the courage to take the steps toward healing and overcoming life’s challenges is not easy. I take pride in creating a safe space for individuals to start their healing journey. I love working with anyone ready to figure out how to live his or her best version of themselves whether it is finding freedom from trauma, depression, anxiety, transition or other psychological disorders.
I have worked in various fields, including social services, group private practice, state facility detention center, foster care, and child-welfare. Some common themes my clients seek help with are anxiety, depression, addictions, life transitions, self-esteem, personal development, self-care, stress management, parenting, trauma, relationships, and communication issues.
My areas of expertise include trauma, crisis intervention, abuse and neglect, anxiety and depression. I practice CBT, Meditation, Motivational interviewing, Trauma-Focus Techniques, and the exploration of daily routines and lifestyle habits will be used to guide your care.
My Name is Danielle Kelly, I am currently a Registered Mental Health Intern, and have been practicing therapy since 2021. My approach to therapy is centered around supporting individuals where they are and collaborating with the client to best suit their therapeutic needs. Together we will build a trusting therapeutic relationship that provides healing and growth tailored to your goals while incorporating therapeutic modalities to better assist in your healing journey. My goal for the client is to provide a space to be their authentic selves without judgement, and to be able to feel comfortable to work through the hard times and celebrate the good times. Our time together will include, but not subjected to, helping you through transitions, emotional regulation and self-esteem. My areas of expertise include trauma, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, and transitional adjustments. My clinical approach is multi-faceted and can include trauma-focused techniques, person-centered approach, CBT, DBT, and exploration of your lifestyle and daily routines.
I am dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing space where individuals can freely explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors without fear of being judged. My approach to therapy is centered on empathy and understanding, helping clients feel safe as they navigate their challenges. I work collaboratively with clients, using proven methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused techniques to encourage positive change and guide them toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.
I prioritize cultural awareness and ethical practices in my work, and I believe that compassion and active listening are essential to effective therapy. My passion lies in assisting clients to overcome their current difficulties and empowering them to face future challenges with greater confidence and resilience.
I am a mental health counselor devoted to creating a compassionate, non-judgmental space where individuals can navigate life’s challenges and pursue personal growth. Empathy and multicultural competence are at the core of my personal therapeutic philosophy. Grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I take a holistic, eclectic approach, drawing from various evidence-based modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and play therapy to meet each client's unique needs.
I have experience working with individuals facing a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, and grief. I work with children, adolescents, and adults. I have a special passion for working with children and believe strongly in the importance of early intervention. By supporting children at critical stages of development, I aim to foster resilience and emotional well-being from a young age.
I am passionate about the belief that every individual has the potential to grow, understand themselves, and improve their quality of life. My goal is to help clients uncover their inner strengths, develop self-awareness, and create meaningful change.
